IDNS to deliver Teaching and Learning Tools for the Welsh Hwb EdTech Programme

For the second year running, we have been successful in the procurement tender process as the AV integrator for the Hwb EdTech programme for Lot 3 – Teaching and Learning Tools.

Since 2012, the Welsh Government has provided maintained schools in Wales with access to a wide range of digital infrastructure, services and resources. The Hwb EdTech programme aims to support maintained schools in Wales to exploit the transformational benefits which digital and technology can have on education to transform learning environments, contributing towards developing net-zero carbon schools and enhancing school facilities for local communities.

Commenting on our delivery of the previous year, Sean Granville, ICT and Data Support Manger from the Vale of Glamorgan Council, said:

“From the beginning, IDNS demonstrated a great commitment to accommodating our needs and ensuring a successful outcome. Their proactive approach to communication ensured successful delivery throughout the project.”

This year will be the first time schools can purchase Clevertouch interactive touchscreens as part of the programme, providing schools across Wales with a fantastic opportunity to access multi-award-winning touchscreens designed for ease of use, security and adaptability.

Darren Clayman, our Managing Director, said:

“We’re incredibly proud to have been chosen again to deliver the final stage of the Hwb programme across Wales. The technology available to schools will support digital transformation whilst developing digital culture, competencies, skills and knowledge to underpin the Curriculum for Wales and the Wellbeing of Future Generations Act Wales.”
